Yesterday my friend asked my opinion about the statement, "Dreams come true when they are held quietly in the heart". Is this statement valid? In my opinion, yes... and no. Theory of Relativity applies here. So far I know there are 2 people who came up with this theory, Albert Einstein and Robert J. Ringer. I'm not going to explain the scientific principle of Einstein's Theory of Relativity (I'm not a physic geek), but there's this quote from Einstein simply explain it.
"Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. THAT'S relativity."
~ Albert Einstein
Einstein's theory is related to space and time. Ringer's theory is more related to people. Using Ringer's theory, sitting with a pretty girl for an hour might still seems like an hour. Why? You might be a gay guy. Or the girl might be pretty but her topic of conversation is so damn boring!... relative to YOU.
So, should you keep your dreams quietly in your heart or should you tell it to the world in order for it to come true? It depends on YOU. If so far you have been keeping your dreams quietly in your heart and none of them come true, then try telling it to your close friend or friends. If you've been telling the whole world about you dreams and your dreams have never come true (and you end up being laughed at). Then, try keeping it quietly in your heart.
"Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."
~ Albert Einstein
