1 commentsDay 95: “My Life Without Me”
Watched dvd with my cousin, “My Life Without Me”. About this gal who just found out that she had cancer and would only live for another 2-3 months. After she knew that she would die soon, she listed down the things that she wanted to do before she died.
Here I am, counting the days to make money and quit my job. 95 more days. Will I still be here in another 95 days? One of the reasons why I want to make a living online is because I want to be closer to the people I care about… my family, my friends. To spend more time with them. Will they still be here in another 95 days? I don’t know.
My uncle just passed away last month. He was 56 years old. Last two weeks, my best friend when I was a kid passed away. He was 31 years old (heart attack while driving to work). Both were really great guys. May they rest in peace.
My grandma’s suffering from cancer. She’s 76. Last Thursday my friend had a surgery. Lump in her breast. Fortunately it wasn’t cancerous. But doctors don’t know what’s the cause of the disease. Death, sickness… we can’t predict them. We can only hope and pray that death won't come that soon and we won't get all these mysterious fatal diseases. I might not have 95 days. What I have is only NOW.
The only reason for time is so that everything doesn’t happen at once.

My question to you (and myself) now is:
What is the list of things that YOU WANT TO DO before you die? If you know you only have another 3 months to live.
Hope to see you again, different time, same url.
Day 96: Today’s Online Earning - $0.00
I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.
~Thomas A. Edison
I have not failed. I’ve just found 2 methods of payment to buy an ebook that won’t work for Malaysians.
- ClickBank
- PayPal (for Malaysians who want to withdraw/receive money)
But I didn’t stop there. I emailed the guy and asked if there’s another way I could get the ebook. Just a few minutes later he replied and gave me a link (2checkout.com) where I could buy the ebook. 2checkout.com accepts Malaysian credit cards. YAY!
Drove down to KL right after work. Meeting my grandma. She'd be staying at my aunt’s house for a while. I hadn’t seen her for quite a long time, because my hometown is very far. About 8 hours drive.
I might not be able to access the internet during weekends. My aunt’s place has no internet access and I’d be busy helping my cousin doing her school project.
That's all for today. Over and out.

2 commentsDay 97: Today's Online Income - $0.00
NOTE:
For those who have not yet created their websites. Learn about search engines optimization and how to attract traffics to your sites first. When I created my site, I used ASP.NET which has pros and cons. One of the good things of dynamic websites, the maintenance won't be that high. You don't have to create lots of pages. Just create 2 pages and you can have 20,000 articles shown on your website because these 20,000 articles are stored in your database. From what I found and understand, search engine robots crawl your sites and look for contents and keywords. They look at your site directories and pages, not inside your database. So, I think if you have 20 articles about making money online on static pages (which means you have 20 pages of articles), your ranking will be better compare to having 20,000 articles inside your MySQL database.
Found a few cool affiliates that I can join. But I’m not going to sign up yet until I clean up and add more contents on Cupid County.
Trying to buy this one ebook that will help me make money online. I really want this book! My instinct is telling me that I have to get this book. But their payment method is either credit card or PayPal. This guy is using ClickBank, and ClickBank doesn’t accept Malaysians. For PayPal, I can sign up but they won’t send check or transfer money electronically to my local bank account. I must have U.S. Bank account if I want to withdraw money. These rules are only for certain countries, Malaysia is one of them.
Hmmm there must be another way.
Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time.

0 commentsDay 98: Today's Online Earning - $0.00
Today's Activities:
1. Updated and created new pages.
2. Searched for articles and infomation on internet marketing and motivation. Found a few good ones.
3. Wanted to buy this ebook, but my credit card was rejected because I'm from Malaysia.
Now my biological clock already shifted. Before this I slept around 12 or 1 am and woke up at 7:30 am. After realizing I'm actualy a geeko inside, that day I woke up at 4:30am automatically without the help of my alarm clock. Since then I sleep around 10pm and wake up at 4:30am. I guess now I'm excited to start my day.
Right now time seems to move so fast. Can only do so much in a day.
Aite. Gotta go back to work.

1 commentsDay 99: Today’s Online Earning - $0.00
I did some affiliates hunting today and what I accidentally found really disappoint me. I found a few affiliates which I believe the online users could really benefit from their products or services, but I cannot join their affiliates program because I’m from MALAYSIA. There are a few other countries that are banned due to fraudulence activities.
As of today, Malaysian Population is estimated at 26,262,178 people. And every 58 seconds one baby is born here (Source from www.statistics.gov.my). According to The Star (summarized by Nua Internet Surveys), this year, 25% of the Malaysian population will have access to the net. That means now approx. 6.6 millions people have access to the internet. Let’s say 0.1% of these people are good and honest people (like me) and want to buy or promote their products or services. I’m not saying that only 0.1% Malaysians are good people. I believe 0.1% is more nearer to % of crooks in Malaysia. However, let’s just assume that number ok? Now, let’s say the service cost USD10 a month, they’ve just lost USD66K per month = USD792K per year. Think about it guys.
For me, I plan to stay online for a long period. I’m not into illegal get rich quick scheme. In another 99 days I plan to make enough money online so I can quit my job, move to Kuala Lumpur to be with my family and friends and do what I like, which are web programming, internet marketing and helping people achieve their dreams. So, help me God.

1 comments100 Days: The Countdown Begins
August 3rd 2005, the day I DECIDED to leave my current job by the end of this year. I joined this semiconductor company on August 3rd, 1998, which mean I’ve been here for 7 YEARS! That’s it. I had enough. I listened to Bob Proctor audio file on making decision and also an article from Jason Oman (you can find this article at Cupid County W. Success Ave). I got motivated.
Today, 100 days more to go. Still motivated, more excited… and a little bit scared I guess. Will this time be the same as last 2 years? I wrote a resignation letter, but had never given it to my boss. On August 3rd, 2005, I took the same letter and changed the date to end of this year. Will it happen this time? Will I give it to my boss on Friday December 30th 2005? I don’t know what will happen on December 30th 2005. But I’m really looking forward to that day.
So, what is my plan to reach that December 30th Goal? My plan is to make money from the internet. If you read my post titled “Who Am I”, I believe making money online suits me because my social skills is not as excellent as my computing skills. I understand programming better than human beings… hehehe.
So, come and join me in my journey to make enough money online so that I can quit my job in another 100 days!
To swingin, txcashguy and heerke, who spent their valuable time writing comments and supports on my blog, thanks so much. Appreciate your comments, info and supports!

EXTRA ORDINARY ACHIEVERS = EXTRA ORDINARY GOALS GEEKIAN (adj):
EXTRA ORDINARY GOALS = DREAMS + COMPLETION DATES + GEEKIAN CHARACTER
1. a follower of GEEK and its exploits.
2. one who fulfill a task whatever the odds.
GEEK (noun) - no more in use:
A mythical character from extra-terrestrial cowboy comic found in the Roswell spaceship. Geek was strong, fearless and a doer of rights.

Be Bold. Be *Goalian. Be Geek.
*Goalian – a person who has goals. This is my new word. I don’t think you can find it in English dictionary. But if any of you find it. Please tell me what it means. Thanks.
Theory of Relativity
"Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. THAT'S relativity."
~ Albert Einstein
Einstein's theory is related to space and time. Ringer's theory is more related to people. Using Ringer's theory, sitting with a pretty girl for an hour might still seems like an hour. Why? You might be a gay guy. Or the girl might be pretty but her topic of conversation is so damn boring!... relative to YOU.
So, should you keep your dreams quietly in your heart or should you tell it to the world in order for it to come true? It depends on YOU. If so far you have been keeping your dreams quietly in your heart and none of them come true, then try telling it to your close friend or friends. If you've been telling the whole world about you dreams and your dreams have never come true (and you end up being laughed at). Then, try keeping it quietly in your heart.

1 commentsWho am I?
So, who am I? I looked back at my childhood years and I found that I was a... geek. And I grew up trying not to be one. Actually I did love my job. When I joined the company, it didn't have... so many things. I designed the dept. website, I developed the Static and Dynamic Applications and designed the IE database. After 7 years, my boss told me, "It's time to move up. Talk more and make yourself more visible, especially to the management". I'm required to attend meetings. So far, I found that whatever their decisions or discussions, 80% of them make no sense to me. Maybe because I don't understand their language. My performance is dropping. I'm not happy. So, now I decided to be the person I used to be when I was a child. I wanna be my kidself again. I wanna bring back the geek in me. You might ask, what is the meaning of geek actually? I found this defination from knowledgerush.com:
- A derogatory term for one with low social skills, often with high intelligence. It is theorised that many of these people have Asperger's Syndrom. Late 20th Century.
- A person who is into technology, especially computing and new media. Comparable with the classic definition of hacker. Late 20th Century and early 21st Century.
- A person with a devotion to something in a way that places him or her outside the mainstream. This could be due to the intensity, depth, or subject of their interest.
It seems that the meaning of geek changes nearly every century. Anyway, I think I'm a combination of all the three definations except that I don't have Asperger's Syndrom and I'm also not a hacker. Knowing who I am now has changed the way I approach my daily life.
Now, a new journey has begun. The Geekosaurus Quest to Be Rich!
May the geek be with you...
